One recording, one clear result
You might need a chorus without the introduction, an interview answer without the waiting time, or a practice phrase without the whole lesson. Open the recording, choose a range and preview it before trimming.
Use Trim to retain a selection, or Cut to remove a section from the middle. Fades and normalization help finish the result before you export.
Keep the original and name the clip
For a first edit, export with a different filename. A name such as “interview-answer-clip.mp3” is easier to recognize later than a second copy of the original title.
Open that exported file in its intended player and check the beginning, ending and duration. All editing features are free; no paid upgrade is needed to complete the export.
